Aragon Regional Hub for Circularity: Circular Flows for Solid Waste in the Urban Environment

Objetive: The project will design five MSW value chains in the Aragon region to develop circular products through an I-US approach. To do so, REDOL will overcome identified local and EU barriers, proposing a set of innovative solutions to improve management technologies for the collection, sorting and classification of MSW, as well as processing techniques (chemical recycling) of sorted materials, avoiding landfilling. In addition, cutting-edge digital tools will be applied to optimize processes. REDOL seeks to lay the foundations to turn Zaragoza into a zero waste city by 2040.
