Tecnopackaging will host a training workshop about PHA bioplastic transformation

This Thursday 22nd of September Tecnopackaging is organising a training workshop on PHA extrusion compounding, film blow extrusion and injection moulding, in the frame of Europha project.

The objective of this workshop is to transfer the lessons learnt and scientific knowledge from RTDs to industries.

EUROPHA Project has developed an industrial process for low cost PHA production through the use of low value feedstock from agro-industrial waste.

The process allow simultaneously reducing PHA bioplastics production costs, valorise agro-food waste, and produce new food packaging formulations 100% biodegradable.

This project, cofounded by the European Union 7thFP “Research for SMEs”, is coordinated by FECOAM and gathers 9 European partners of different profiles (SMEs, Associations, research centres…).
