New active packaging with antimicrobial and antioxidant capacity

Tecnopackaging is developing a new active packaging with antimicrobial and antioxidant capacity, capable of destroying microorganisms on the inner surface of the container in addition to release certain compounds that can prolong the lifetime of certain agrifood products.

This new packaging, which is also biodegradable, is developed by injection technologies, and may be of special interest in high added value products such as fresh fish, meats, milk or foods.

In developing the project are also involved food businesses of Aragon.
