EuroPHA 1st Consortium meeting
Last Wednesday April 15th 2014, the first consortium meeting of the EUROPHA project (CM1) took place in INSPIRALIA facilities located at Campus Cantoblanco in Madrid.
Last Wednesday April 15th 2014, the first consortium meeting of the EUROPHA project (CM1) took place in INSPIRALIA facilities located at Campus Cantoblanco in Madrid.
Today starts EuroPHA Project where the SME and 8 partners from 10 countries take part of the project. The project will boost the use of bioplastics by reducing it cost and improving it's biodegradability. The project budget is 2.093.640,48€ and it is co-financed by EU. It will last until 2016.
Tecnopackaging is developing a new active packaging with antimicrobial and antioxidant capacity, capable of destroying microorganisms on the inner surface of the container in addition to release certain compounds that can prolong the lifetime of certain agrifood products.
Tecnopackaging has won the 1st START contest, sponsored by Science and Technology Park Aula Dei (PCTAD) as part of their performances.
